I was just looking at some universities offering the Bachelor of Health Science (BHSc) degree.

I stumbled upon this University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) and just to enter the program from highschool you only need marks in the low 70% for Bachelor of Health Science (BHSc). I hear this university is new.

How come it's so low compared to other universities? Does it really matter what university go to as long as you get the same degree? McMaster requires 90% to enter for the Bachelor of Health Science degree. While this university requires low 70%. There's only 91 applicants going for that degree in UOIT, why is that number so low?

I personally am not the greatest in math. In grade 10 I had a 82% in Science while I had a 65% in math. I plan to get that to 70% in math by making major changes in my work habits. I also think I may be able to get atleast a 85% average in Science with hard work (I hear science gets harder in Grade 11 and 12)

What would you recommend for a successful marks in math, when entering grade 11 and 12? I do plan to get a tutor too. But at the same time, I'm worried I won't get into any Health Science program, because if I can I would become a Physician. If I don't get the marks I could do something like a Pharmacist.

I just heard about Ontario's plan to lower most generic drug costs by about 50%. This is something that needed to be addressed as anyone who has to take daily medication knows. Ontario had some of the highest generic drug prices around.
