University Packing List

Hey, I've seen a few packing lists as it is getting close to the time to start getting ready for school.

I'm wondering if anyone has suggestions on what is a "must have" when going to a university that I might otherwise forget. The generic packing lists won't cut it haha.

my advice is to just go with the basics, you'll learn what u need pretty quick.

It saves time.

I wouldn't bother too much with toileteries, stationary or stuff like that if you're going to the freshers week - theres usually plenty of companies giving away freebies that will last a while.

I'd say make sure you take all the documentation / bumph you need, your mobile and any other gadgets, a phone card for long distance calls if you'll be making any. Beyond that you can probably buy most of the stuff once you're there.

If you forget your mobile though - you'll go insane - trust me

Ducttape. - Enough said.
Sweaters - It gets cold quick, and sweaters are kinda expensive so you can save money before winter shows up.
Slippers.
Phone card.
Socks.
